BOYS VOLLEYBALL: ISKL vs. sas
It was a bright and early morning and both the SAS and ISKL teams were on the roll. Today’s long-awaited game was between the boys’ SAS Eagles and the ISKL Panthers. #3, Reid T. from the SAS Eagles, started off with a great serve. There was palpable excitement as both teams received equal support, with the game beginning with a tie- 7 all.
The ISKL Panthers were in the lead 14-11. However, in response to the spike of ISKL Panthers’ #9, Jackson L., SAS Eagles’ #12, Luke H. received it with an amazing glide, earning a point for his team. By the end of the game’s first break, the SAS Eagles were in the lead, and caught up to the ISKL Panthers with a score of 17-15. As the teams were finishing the first set, they were fierce, with the score at 21-21. The results were unpredictable. The crowd was left to watch a nail-biting game as the SAS Eagles earned their victory of the first set with a score of 25-23.
Then began the next breathtaking set. After a few powerful series of spikes, ISKL Panthers #16 Reeve W. blocked out the attack from SAS Eagles #16 Gabriel P. The game continued on with a score of 10-10. After a series of serves and passings, the SAS Eagles ultimately won the second set with the score 25-14, leading them to win both sets.
With both teams displaying solid gameplay in today’s games, we wish both the Eagles and Panthers the best of luck in their final fixtures tomorrow!
