The Bearcats (ISM) and the Tigers (TAS) soccer boys displayed intense, quick, powerful play that kept the crowd on edge at all times. Showing consistent dedication and determination after running in the hot weather for quite a while, all players undoubtfully gave their best throughout the whole game.
The first quarter consisted of tight defense play on both sides of the players, and the Bearcats, especially as the Tigers came dangerously close to the goal often. But Lucas K. (#4) successfully showed great defensive play and was able to save the ball many times. The first quarter ended with no goals from either team.
The second quarter also had TAS players come very near the goal and more physical play was shown. After a repetition of back and forth play, the Tigers were given a free-kick. This free-kick helped the Tigers finally score a goal before second-quarter ended.
The third quarter was the climax for the ISM boys as it was the highlight of their first goal, changing the score to a tie of 1-1. On the other hand, it was also a difficult time as two players, #10 and #8 both got injured and had to sub out.
The second half still consisted of similar plays as the first two quarters, but the Bearcats were able to more frequently go closer to the goal, still showing improvement even near the end of the game.
The game ended with a final score of 1-1, thanks to both the players that showed extreme dedication to all parts of the game.
